W piątek 19 maja w auli Papieskiego Instytutu Augustianum rozpoczyna się dwudniowy kongres „Humanae Vitae”, w którym reprezentowani będą przedstawiciele ruchów obrony życia z pięciu kontynentów. Językami kongresu będą: in francuski, angielski, Hiszpański i Włoski. Swój osobisty udział zgłosiło już 419 osób. W obradach kongresu można także uczestniczyć on line (na żywo) na platformie zoom (www.congreshumanaevitae.org). Po 23 maja ma być także dostępny na YouTube.
- To będzie z pewnością najmocniejszy i najbardziej słyszany głos w Europie przeciwko próbom uczynienia z aborcji prawa człowieka i wpisania jej do Karty Praw Podstawowych Unii Europejskiej, gdzie miałaby się stać bronioną „świętością” na równi z wolnością słowa czy wyznania – twierdzi Jakub Bałtroszewicz, prezes Polskiej Federacji Ruchów Obrony Życia i sekretarz generalny Europejskiej Federacji dla Życia i Godności Człowieka ONE OF US.
- Takie działania, jak organizowany przez nas Kongres dla ruchów ochrony życia, są równie ważne i konieczne jak działalność pomocowa dla dzieci szczególnie chorych czy niepełnosprawnych, domy samotnych matek czy hospicja perinatalne. Bo gdy uda się zmienić prawo europejskie (lub co gorsza same traktaty) to odnajdziemy się w rzeczywistości, w której brak dostępu do aborcji będzie się równał brakowi demokracji. A takie kraje jak Polska będą po prostu za to karane w majestacie prawa… – dodaje.
Obrady Kongresu będą trwały od godz. 8:00 do 19:00 w piątek 19 maja br., oraz w sobotę 20 maja od 8:00 do 12:00.
